Live gigs return to ThinkPunk with BlueBellBeats Heatwave Series! First up is Greg Clifford’s new band:

MANA, a duo consisting of Greg Clifford and Shane Byrne, based respectively in

Berlin and Dublin. The music is a synthesis of post punk fused with indie rock

and guitar tones reminiscent of the late 70s and early 80s.

Their lyrics are inspired by how polarized and cynical the world has become, in

which people are left bitter, undermined and fragmented. These songs embody

communal disenchantment whilst also offering a sense of solace and solidarity.

MANA, by definition, is a supernatural force that permeates the universe. It can

be transmitted or inherited. Anyone or anything can possess mana.
